I grew up in Marathon, a small town about 20 minutes away, where there are also more cows than people. This semester I will be finishing up my junior year; I am majoring in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in English. I hope to gain an abundance of knowledge and experience throughout my time here at SUNY Cortland. Here’s to ENG 429 helping us all with that! Good luck to everyone this semester!

Hi Allison! I’ve actually heard of Marathon and I’m from Upstate New York as well. There are a bunch of cows by where I live as well!! Some of them are so cute though especially the baby cows. Are there a bunch of deer where you live?? There are so many at night when it gets dark out I have to drive literally 20-30 MPH where I live because they like to randomly run out. I’m excited for ENG 429 as well this should be a fun course! I’m also glad that our class is small because we will be able to get to know all of eachother a bit better!!
